Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime underground journey as you descend into the legendary 7th Hole, part of one of Oman’s largest and most awe-inspiring cave systems.
This expedition takes you deep into the earth, navigating through vast chambers, tackling three major descents, and exploring the incredible hidden world below. You'll traverse the cave system on foot and rope, eventually reaching the stunning Tahery Cave, where you’ll sleep inside the heart of the earth.
A true adventure for the bold, this experience is as humbling as it is unforgettable, an extraordinary traverse from darkness to daylight, deep beneath the surface of Oman.
Level: Extremely difficult | Ages: 18+
- Inclusions: 3 nights camping with equipment (Tent, all camp cutlery, plates, bowls and cups), 3 x dinner, 3 packed lunch or lunch in local restaurant, 3 x breakfast, transport, guide, all entry fees, dry bags & all safety equipment.

Day 1 – Arrival & Ascent
- 2 pm- Meet at Husaak Center
- Begin 3-hour drive to Salmah Plateau
- Dinner en route during the scenic mountain drive
- Arrive at basecamp, settle in, and get some rest under the stars
Day 2– Full Training Day
- Wake up and enjoy a light breakfast at camp
- Gear up for a full day of technical training
- Learn and practice essential caving and rope techniques
- 3 training blocks with a lunch break in between
- Evening wrap-up followed by a hearty dinner
- Rest up in your tents — big day ahead
Day 3– The Big Descent
- Early morning wake-up and light breakfast
- Begin the epic descent into the 7th Hole
- First drop leads into the main cave chamber
- Second drop into complete darkness deep in the cave system
- Journey through a series of vertical drops, climbs, and potential swims
- Navigate through the underground network until you exit at Tahery Cave
- From the cave exit, 2-hour hike back to the vehicles
- Warm, well-earned dinner and rest at basecamp
Day 4 – Wrap-Up & Return
- Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the morning
- Break down camp and pack up
- Begin drive back to Muscat, arriving around midday
- Trip ends with drop-off in the city or airport transfer
